Past Life: Vayne Solidor
Age: 27
Appearance: Tall, longish hair, upper class fashion sense, &c &c. PB is Tarkan Tevetoğlu.

In-game History: Iskender was born to an upper-class Locke City family, with his parents having immigrated from Istanbul before he was born. He’s an only child, and while he’s met his extended family, he’s not particularly close to them. His mother died in an accident when he was still a baby, and as his father never really talked about her very much, he rarely if ever thinks about her.
When he was growing up, he would spend most of his time in the nonfiction section of the library. What time he spend not there was doing volunteer work at all sorts of places, not because he’s particularly altruistic, but because he sees that as immediately useful, certainly more than donating money somewhere that could get misplaced and/or misused. As a result, he knows his way around some of the more run-down parts of the city, though since he hasn’t been there in a while, things no doubt have changed, and he doesn’t want to know just how much. When he went to college, he had less and less time to do it. As much as he liked it, he doesn’t miss it, either.
Iskender can get along fine with people from all levels of society, but there are certain kinds of people he just doesn’t like - arrogant people, people who flaunt their socioeconomic status, people who act entitled simply because of said status, the list goes on. Unfortunately, the upper-tier private schools he went to were full of them. Rather than getting into any kind of altercation, he’d just ignore them while keeping with that requisite level of politeness, though he did have those one or two people he got along relatively well with in every class. He isn’t particularly mean, though he is - and would call himself - more than a little shy and introverted. He’s well aware that this means he can come across as standoffish or arrogant himself, though he sees no reason to change anyone’s perception. As a result, he doesn’t, and never really did, have any close friends. He’s okay with that, though; the little office socialization he gets at Locke City University is enough for him.
After high school, he went seamlessly into a career in academia. Being a grad student means interacting with undergrad students, and while that has gotten easier, sometimes he still thinks that that he’s not cut out for that. He’d rather spend all his time holed up in the library. As of when he’d get his first echo, he’s almost done earning a Ph.D., though God knows how long that’s going to take him now, focusing on military and political history.
